At UMDNJ-School of Osteopathic Medicine
New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Wallace to Speak at Convocation

New Jersey Supreme Court Justice John E. Wallace, Jr., will deliver the keynote address to the Class of 2004 class during the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ)-School of Osteopathic Medicine convocation ceremony on Monday, May 24, at 6 p.m., at the Regency Palace in Mt. Laurel.

Justice Wallace received his bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware and his law degree from Harvard University. Governor James McGreevey nominated Justice Wallace to the Supreme Court in April 2003 and he was confirmed by the Senate the following month. At the time of his nomination, Justice Wallace was a New Jersey Superior Court judge, sitting in the Appellate Division where he has served since 1992.

During the convocation ceremony, 14 of the 78 graduating physicians of the Class of 2004 will receive special recognition for their achievements in academics, clinical studies and community service.

The commencement ceremony for the Class of 2004, the largest in the University's history, will take place on Tuesday, May 25, at 10:30 a.m. at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton.
